In the 50cc 4-8 class, we watched Kane Kostellic (722), Joseph Rodriguez (115), Hank Biernat (222), and Kolm Sloan (955) all race real tight close together. These little guys were having a great battle with each other until Rodriguez ended up crashing somewhere in the third lap which took him out of that battle but put Biernat in his place in second and unfortunately for Rodriguez, he dropped down about four places. As Biernat takes second he picks up some speed and was going after Kostellic, but only had one lap left to do so. Turned out Biernat had enough determination because he was able to catch Kostellic and even pass him! Biernat started in third and finished in first, while Kostellic dropped to second place, and Sloan finished with a third!
As the 65 Sr class takes off, Cole Johler (309)gets the hole shot and takes the lead with Blake Pearson (427) right on his tail. Automatically we knew this will be a good race between these two just by watching the start. As they’re going around for their first lap Johler is doing a great job holding off Pearson but right as they are coming up to finish that first lap Pearson comes in makes that pass and takes the lead! Luckily for Johler if he wants to take that lead back he’s got the whole race to do so but the question is will Pearson let that happen? These two battle it out the whole race, running real close to each other, everyone watching can feel how tense it’s getting. As the two come to finish out the race they start running into lappers. Seems like Pearson is able to get around them quicker and kept that first place for a finish with a lapper in between him and Johler so Johler took second!

Jake Mueller (11) had quite a good race out there in the 250 B class and looked pretty good for not riding for quite a while. Mueller started the race off in third and as each lap went by he started just pickin guys off and put himself in first. By the last couple of laps he even got in the mix of the 250 A guys that were out there racing with them and managed to keep that lead to the checkered flag!

With the 250A action kicking off where it left off last year. Garrett Ward (31) and Kyle White (19) did battle for a bit til White took control. It was his race this rain shortened night.

Young guns air it out on the back big table.  Many surprises this spring.  Summer and racing will be very cool to watch!

As the night progressed the skies darken and lighting in the distance grew closer.  It was evident that mother nature wasn't going to co-operate with the nights action.  7th main was on the track with 50cc Jr on the "grates, with 250C in staging. With 1 lap to go the 50cc sr class was winding down but the wind picked up big time, taking 4-5 canopies, and making it clear that she dicided racing would end early this night.  Next event on the 30th is coming up quick and we are looking forward to more great racing and the stand outs this night were clear.  Nothing new for Megacross, weather drama is a process we all see every season, nice thing is if it gets too "damp", we simply use the indoor to make sure racing happens on the scheduled days / nights it is slated for!  See you next round!
